There are several holistic remedies for healing; Reiki, massage, counseling, and the list goes on. Sometimes all we need is to ground our energy and connect with the sacred elements. Help is essential when dealing with significant issues but to maintain healthy stress levels daily we need simple remedies. How often do we allow ourselves to pull out our favorite crystal, run a hot bath, light a candle, and say a prayer? The answer is probably not often enough. We are so busy helping others and fulfilling obligations we forget to implement our necessary self-care. We can start with the little things; like simply taking a bath, going for a nature walk, dancing, or meditating.
It is important to find our own sacred element for grounding. Not everyone connects with the earth in the same way. Some people ground with the element of air through music and sound. Just as our body may crave certain herbs, fruits, and vegetables, so does our body need specific elements to integrate within our energetic system. Working with these elements in a deep way can create a powerful environment of peace and calm in our lives. We can also heal the elements. Just as some people pray on their food, we can change the molecules of water with our breath and intentions. Just realize, nature is always communicating with us, we just need to listen and be open to a healing relationship.
